In the middle of his wedding, Antonio, a young Swiss-Italian, is seized by the military police, who drag him off to the camp where he was supposed to begin his basic training. Upon arrival at the army base, things go from bad to worse. Willing to go to any lengths to get back to his distressed bride, Antonio – a "true love waits" type – hatches a daring plan: He starts to make eyes at his good-natured fellow recruit Michelle in order to have sex with her. Why? Because sexual relations on the army base are strictly prohibited and will be punished by a dishonorable discharge. Inevitably, Antonio's best laid plans go terribly wrong.
